1072- Survey Of The New Testament
Classes meet on Sunday – January 21, 2024, to March 31, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM [Phase 1 COPP requirement]
This course will help you to understand the divisions, times, and places of New Testament writings within the context of the historical development of the Christian Church in the first century.
2023 - Creative Ways of Teaching
Classes meet on Sunday, April 21, 2024, to June 30, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. [Bible Teacher Certification Requirement]
This course is designed to help you understand and apply the principles of teaching and learning in the context of a church school or small Bible Study. You will identify and apply the concepts of learning preferences and teaching philosophy. You will use mobile technology to develop and deliver innovative Bible lessons that lead to positive changes in the knowledge, attitude, and lifestyle of the learner.
Fall Semester - 2024
9008 - Public Speaking
Classes meet on Sunday, September 15, 2024, to December 8, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. [Bible Teacher Certification Requirement]
This course will identify the process and principles for writing speeches and delivering them in public. You will develop "presentation literacy" by applying the knowledge of basic verbal and nonverbal communication skills that will enable you to effectively communicate with audiences of all sizes.
